After Seb & Freddy completed their own van conversion, Freddy posted pictures online and caught the attention of A Current Affair.
We were asked to feature and jumped at the opportunity, registering a business, printing t-shirts and building a basic website overnight. Before we knew what was happening we were inundated with enquiries and opened our first workshop in July 2021.
Since then, we’ve expanded 3 times, built more than 100 vehicles and gained a reputation as one of the best van conversion companies in Australia. Our vision was not just to become reputable builders, but to be a hub for all things Vanlife in Australia.

SEB, THE MAN WITH THE PLAN
Sebastian Langton is an experienced entrepreneur and inventor with a wealth of knowledge in business and product development. He created the smallest remote GPS tracking device in the world, is the founder of Wiki Ports Pty Ltd – a leading yachting ports database, has renovated and flipped multiple houses, boats, motorbikes and vans.
Seb’s lifetime of experience in inventing, building and problem-solving, and his wealth of product and material knowledge, ensure he gets the most out of any build.
Seb is a creative and driven individual who brings a strong motivational-leadership approach towards teamwork and company culture.
FREDDY, THE MIDAS TOUCH
While Seb may be the builder, it’s Freddy who has given Vanable Fitouts that special something. Her attention to detail and eye for design has been key to what has put our fitouts ahead of the competition.
